Looking for a no-fuss, all-you-can-eat meal in Branson? Grand Country Buffet is one of the longest-running and most popular buffets on the 76 Strip. Located inside the Grand Country Resort, it serves classic American comfort food in a casual, family-style setting.
I have been eating there for many, many years - at least since it was Bonanza in the 90s!
Whether you’re craving a big breakfast before a day at Silver Dollar City or a hearty dinner before seeing a show, here’s everything you need to know about Grand Country Buffet in 2026.
What Is Grand Country Buffet?
Grand Country Buffet is the main restaurant at Grand Country Resort (1945 W 76 Country Blvd). It’s open to resort guests and the general public alike. The vibe is relaxed and down-home — think Southern-style cooking with fresh breads, slow-roasted meats, and made-from-scratch sides and a salad bar.
The buffet changes throughout the day with separate breakfast, lunch, and dinner setups, plus a Sunday brunch.
You will never have a bad meal at GC! However, if you want the most variety for your dollar, I recommend either dinner or the Sunday brunch.
Menu Highlights
The menu focuses on hearty, crowd-pleasing American classics rather than fancy or exotic dishes.
Breakfast (served until around 10–11 AM) Fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, farm-fresh eggs cooked to order, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, and pastries.
Lunch & Dinner
- Slow-roasted roast beef or ham
- Fried chicken or country-fried steak
- Fresh salads and vegetable sides
- Homemade breads and rolls
- Mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, green beans, and other classic sides

Danny's Favs
Some may disagree, but my favorite things include the fresh watermelon & grapes, fried catfish, mashed potatoes & gravy and... LOL
They are generous with the food they put out, and the dishes stay hot and are replenished quickly during busy times.

Honest Review: Is Grand Country Buffet Worth It?
Pros
- Excellent value for the price — especially if you have a big appetite.
- Consistent, home-style cooking that tastes like a big family meal.
- Clean, friendly service and quick table turnover.
- Convenient location right on the Strip with free parking.
- Some of the staff have been there for many years. After a few visits you will have favorites!
Cons
I had to put something for the "Cons" section, but honestly I love Grand Country Buffet!
- The selection is solid but may not be as massive as some huge Las Vegas buffets.
- It can feel crowded during peak hours. (Because everybody loves them!)
- Not the place for adventurous or gourmet eaters — it’s straightforward comfort food. Sorry, no Poached Eel in Truffle Sauce here! 😁
Overall, it’s a reliable, no-surprises choice that most visitors enjoy, particularly if you’re staying at or near Grand Country Resort.
Pro Tips for the Best Experience
- Go early to avoid lines and get the freshest food.
- Look for coupons in local brochures or at the resort front desk — they frequently offer buy-one-get-one-half-off deals.
- If you’re staying at the resort, the buffet is just steps away — super convenient.
- Save room for dessert; the pies and cobblers are popular for a reason!
- Sit on The Porch next to the indoor mini-golf course if it's not too busy. It's pretty, and I like it!
Is Grand Country Buffet Right for Your Trip?
Yes — especially if you want a good, filling meal with zero hassle. It’s a Branson classic that delivers exactly what most people are looking for: delicious food, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere.
